World Monuments Fund and our local partners GOAM have been working in Ta'iz, Yemen, since December 2018, with funding from the British Council’s Cultural Protection Fund. Taiz is a battleground in the civil war that has consumed Yemen since early 2015, causing terrible human suffering and loss of life.

Talk by Eric Vallet from the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne and panel discussion chaired by journalist and writer, Charlene Rodrigues. Followed by reception and private view of What Remains, an exhibition which looks at why cultural heritage is attacked during war.
