The Chairman of the British–Yemeni Society, Dr Robert Wilson OBE, invites the members of the Society to a Special General Meeting (SGM) that will take place on Thursday 8 September 2016 at 18:30 at the premises of the London Middle East Institute (LMEI) in the MBI Al Jaber Room, First Floor, 21 Russell Square London WC1B 5EA.

The aim of the Special General Meeting is for the membership to approve of the proposed amendments to the Constitution of the Society to bring it into line with current practice and to clarify some points. The document with the proposed amendments can be found HERE. The Constitution of the Society can be accessed in our website HERE.

The SGM is open to BYS members only and will be followed by the first public lecture of the Society for the new academic year, the Yemen Crisis Update.
